Preventive Effect of Naringin on Metabolic Syndrome

Naringin is a predominant flavanone glycoside (flavonoid) found in many plants mainly citrus fruits. Naringin has been reported to show various pharmacological benefits such as antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antiapoptotic, and antimutagenic activities.
